A day late as only saw this late last night, so let me began.
Day 1 -story I’m adrian mills from the midlands and art has been on my brain since i can remember, always drawing when I was young so either a stunt man (I blame the fall guy) or a artist in some way, but I had a voice problem and a stutter so art was all I could do so off I went to #rugby college to study #graphicsesign before computers (bc) (aye I am that old ) and learn how to draw freehand but then gave it all up to be a postman with bright red hair. I thought art couldn’t get money so why not a postman? .Well after years of up at 4.30am I went to #hastings to do a foundation course then up to #sunderland BA fine art, then of course thought you couldn’t get money from art so ended up with lots of jobs from #gravedigger to ending up being a care worker with people in #austism while doing a #cambridge MA children’s book illustration in which got me in love with sketchbooks .
Anyway to the end I finally got made redundant from my job as it closed down and started doing markets and doing art as a career. still not enough money but I do love that feeling when people love my work. The idea of leaving something behind is so nice as we are all stories, I like to be a good story.#90likes #brand #art #artist
